The number one thing you can do to protect your computer is to install anti virus software. Anti virus software is kind of like the booster shot you got as a kid in the sense that it will protect your computer from viruses before it was hit.

• Pop Ups - this can be especially bad if you have children since often these pop up contain graphic adult images.
